Cobra True Duals Exhaust System with Billet Tip

True Dual systems are designed to deliver optimal torque and power while increasing the stock bike's rideability right in the sweet spot of the torque curve.

True Dual exhaust systems are built with maximum performance and aggressive custom looks in mind. This system features mandrel bent steel tubing, specially tuned 4" mufflers with machined aluminum billet tips to complete an almost custom installation for an aggressive performance look and sound.

Increases the performance over the stock machine while also dropping more than a few unwanted pounds. Complete with heat shields that do not turn blue, this system is a vast improvement over stock. Mufflers have proprietary technology to prevent bluing, and the highly polished billet tips are the stylish finish to its top quality muffler body.

Questions & Answers

  • Will these fit on my 2008 1600 vulcan classic?

    By: Deacon

Unfortunately, Cobra, nor any other vendor we're aware of - does not produce a true-duals exhaust system of any type to fit the 2008 Vulcan 1600 Classic. The only two full exhausts we have to fit that bike are the Vance & Hines Big Shots Staggered Exhaust System or the Cobra Speedster Slashdown Exhaust System.

  • Hello

Do these bipes have the removable baffle in them I like the sound of them but it still sounds the same when it idles just want a little more sounds

    By: Justin p

Yes, the mufflers are indeed fitted with removable baffles. The exhaust will certainly be louder than stock, however, even with the baffles installed since you're replacing the entire exhaust system. Even at idle, it'll be louder. Still, should you find them to be not loud enough for your needs, you can easily remove those baffles as they're secured in place with a single bolt each.

  • Do I need to install some sort of fuel controller on my 2006 Kaw Nomad for it it to run normal

    By: David

While it's not required, we highly recommend that you modify fuel delivery in order to get the most out of this, or any other Vulcan Nomad full exhaust system we sell for your bike. Typically, for slip-on mufflers, it's not of a concern since the OEM ECU can usually handle those changes without issue. But, when you go from stock to a Kawasaki Nomad full exhaust, you really should modify fuel delivery. In this way, you can be assured the biggest possible power gains and, avoid annoying flat spots in throttle response. The latter can be particularly troublesome when you go to pick up the throttle and the bike just stumbles as opposed to taking off.

For this particular system, we (and Cobra), recommend the Fi2000R Fuel Tuner. It's set up out of the box ready to work with a Nomad Cobra full exhaust system and, it can easily be configured for any other changes you may make in the future (eg. aftermarket intake kit). The included instructions do an excellent job of explaining how to configure the device for any changes you make later on, and also, to fine-tune it's setting for your current configuration. It's a rather easy-to-use device.

  • This system does it come with the header pipe also ???

    By: Jay

Yes, this kit completely replaces the OEM exhaust system on any of the bikes in our fit guide. Everything from the header pipes on back to the muffler tips is discarded so you can put the new Cobra exhaust in its place.
