S&S 510G Complete Camshaft Kit

The 510G is designed as a bolt in cam for 88 to 95" engines with compression ratios below 9.7:1. Intended primarily for stock heads that have not been ported.

Can be used with stock springs.

Includes 510G gear drive camshaft set and inner gears, outer cam drive gear kit, and camshaft installation kit.

    The labor rate for each shop may vary, so it's hard to say exactly what you'll pay for the work. That said, you can expect to be billed for around four hours of work to have these cams installed.

  • Will this setup require new push rods...and is it completely bolt on?

    S&S' 510G camshaft kit is designed to work with the stock setup for any machine that you choose from our fit guide. There's no need to purchase new push rods or any other parts. Everything you need is included in the kit.

  • The description of what is included does not say anything about the cam bearings and plate but it shows in the picture, are the bearings and plate included as well? Also there was a question about needing pushrods, you do need them if you are not removing the rocker covers correct?

    This kit doesn't include a cam plate but, would include the inner and outer bearings, gasket, with instructions. And you don't need the pushrods if you're willing to pull the rocker covers. Otherwise, an S&S Quickee Pushrod Conversion kit would do the trick. With that, you won't need to pull the rocker covers - you just cut the OEM pushrods in situ to pull them out.
