I just ordered the Cobra Drag Pipes for my 2000 Honda Shadow 750ACE. Cobra doesn't make a jet kit for that year/model. Is it okay to mix this Vance&Hines kit with the Cobra pipes?

Why is there an included drill bit for the install? I've taken my carb apart before and didn't see the need for a drill bit.

Typically, the drill is included so you can remove the brass plug the manufacturer puts in the carb body to cover the air/fuel mixture screw. Removing that plug allows you to adjust that screw if needed.

Anytime you replace the exhaust system on a carbureted motorcycle you would want to install a jet kit to match. This kit would get you where you need to be with an aftermarket exhaust system on a 2003 Suzuki VL800 Volusia 800.
