Questions & Answers

  • The picture shows metal tabs in front. Does it come with suction cups? Will it work with a "Danny Grey Speed Cradle Solo Seat" on a 2005 FLHTCU? And does it measure a true 14 inches wide for passenger comfort on long rides?

    By: Gonz

No, this seat will not fit your bike as it's designed specifically for Bigseat Solo seats from Danny Gray. The only seat that Danny Gray makes that will go with the solo seat you have would be the SpeedCradle Pillion Pad. That particular seat measures 10 inches wide at its widest point and it comes with all required mounting hardware (the rear is secured to the OEM rear seat mounting screw and the front uses suction cups). As for passenger comfort, it's really hard to say what the rider behind you would think of it. I can tell you that it's probably good for an hour or two of travelling, but it's not something you'd want to be say on for a long distance ride.
