The one to get if you ride a Vstar 1100

First of all the 2008 vstar 1100 Silverado is a classic, for some reason they don't list it. To install you have to remove your right neck cover to get to the right Coil. This means removal of gas tank, right crash bar, neck cover must be removed. They provide connectors and shrink wrap to prepare your wire ends. The connectors have an extra tab they call piggy back connectors. Remove your coil wires and plug in theirs, plug in the coil wires into piggy backs. Remove top clamp off handle bars. Put the tack on using stock bolts. On mine the back part of clamp fit flush while the front has a 1/16" gap which is noticable if you examine closely, otherwise it fits well and clamps the handle bars well. The white face matches the white face of speedo. I have a white face Stem clock and all look great together. The lighting of the Tach is simular to the lighting of Speedo, but brighter. The Tach face is a little larger than I would have specified. They are a little pricey, but they are also made for a specific bike which makes them desirable. The tach needle moves smoothly and dosen't bounce around.
