Changing my 1997 flstc to hard bags need clearance for turn signal lites

they're designed to replace the long bar that goes under the taillight to which the turn signals are mounted to. For your particular needs, it may be just what you're after since they do move the turn signal lights closer to the taillight. You'll notice less distance between the rear taillight and each turn signal when compared to the stock rear turn signal bar.
