Questions & Answers

  • what is the differance between "standard & performance" pipes?

    By: Nay

The only difference between the two exhausts is the inside diameter of the removable baffles that are included in the mufflers. The standard baffles measure 2" on the inside and the performance variant has 2-1/2" inside diameter baffles.

What you choose really depends on the overall state of tune for your bike. If you're running a stock intake and haven't done, or don't plan on adjusting fuel delivery (mapping/jet kit), then the standard baffles are your best bet. If you're looking to combine the mufflers with a headers-only kit, have or want to use an aftermarket intake kit and will be adjusting fuel delivery, then the mufflers with the performance baffles would be best for your needs.
