S&S Big Twin Super Stock Cylinder Heads

S&S Super Stock cylinder heads have high flowing ports and a specially shaped combustion chamber and contoured piston dome are what make makes these heads produce power. The increased "squish" area of this design sets up a controlled turbulence in the combustion chamber. That turbulence improves flame travel for a more efficient burn and reduced detonation. Requires S&S Super Stock pistons, sold separately.

  • Machined with a stock bolt pattern
  • Larger, more open combustion chamber presents less resistance to air flow around the valves
  • 2.000 inch intake valves and 1.605 inch exhaust valves
  • Special "cast to shape" intake ports with a special directional fin for improved air flow
  • Precision CNC machined from heat treated aircraft quality aluminum castings
  • Complete head assembly with valves and S&S .640 inch lift springs

  • How much horse power will that add?

    Without knowing exactly what bike you're putting it on, or the overall state of tune that bike happens to be in, it's hard to say exactly how much extra power you'd get out of these heads. What we can tell you is S&S claims that, when using a stock cam - you can get at least another 10 horsepower out of the engine, so long as you also use the required S&S Superstock pistons.
