At first I was worried they would not work on my '98 Ultra Classic because I only have the radio and not an additional amplifier. They work fine and the sound is, not surprisingly, much better than the sound from the original 22 year old speakers. Cruising down the highway at 70mph the sound comes thru fine at about 1/2 the volume setting as before.

Great speakers, rears were extremely easy to install.
Front were a bit more complicated due to removing outer fairing but, take your time and it will go fine.

I received the speakers in four days from date of order! Very well packaged, no damage!
I replaced the OEM grommets with automotive U-clip nuts. Had to fiddle with the alignment a tad but the result was well worth the few moments of extra time. The speakers are now solid! They sound great!

do i need the amp to run these speakers or can i got off the factory radio until i get the amp

Yes, all Hogtunes speakers are compatible with the OEM amplifier. Of course, they won't be as loud when paired with a proper amp, but they will sound better than the stock speakers. So, when you're ready, you can add an amp and get the most out of your new speakers!
