Overall it sounded good

By   on  Verified Purchaser

Overall it sounded good and was easy to install. The downside is that when it came to installing the baffle plates the holes were not lined up very well and could not get the third bolt in correctly. Had to remove the core and reposition the nut and weld it in The right spot.

Best muffler ever

Wow

By   on  Verified Purchaser

I love this pipe, I used 8 spacers on my klr, awesome. This is the best exhaust if you want a deep, I mean deep throaty sound. The best overall thing is you can tune it to your liking. Supertrapp keep up the good work, as always, me and the girl thank you. p.s it looks awesome also.

Questions & Answers

Ask Question

What is the biggest difference between the SuperTrapp "racing series" and the "quiet series" if these mufflers are tune-able to sound?

2001 Suzuki DR650.

Sound output on both mufflers is indeed tune-able, the difference is the internal design of each unit. The Racing Series muffler, naturally, has a straight-through design while the Quiet Series muffler uses a series of pipes on its interior to quell sound output. Externally, both mufflers for the DR650 look the same and the pipe that links them to the OEM header is identical.
