Could you please give me the diameter measurement of this filter, to the outer edge of the filter?

This particular S&S air filter measures 6-1/2" across and 3-1/2" tall. So long as you're fitting it to a machine with a teardrop air cleaner using any: S&S Super E carburetor, Super G carburetor, or S&S VFI induction system, you should have no problem with installation.
