Cobra True Duals Header Pipes

Installation was a bit of a pain, but I managed to get through it. Instructions were kind of written with no real guidance (pictures). A fantastic investment to get rid of the horrible Harley Y design on my 08 Ultra Classic I have to give us five stars.

I would definitely recommend these head pipes. Was ready to go to different mufflers but instead thought I would try these first. It gave my bike the roar that I was looking for. Will definitely make your bike loud but sound great. Would definitely purchase these again.

Good performance great sounding and excellent looking and quality. I really like the one piece heat shields. Rear lower exhaust flange nut a little difficult to tighten but doable.

Right after I put those bad boys on and detailed my bike. I fired that bad boy up and I think I had a tear in my eye I was so happy there is a greater response when you throttle up would I recommend these pipes. You know it. Besides that when I ordered these pipes they came to very next day it blew my mind. Good job.

I recently received my cobra dual headers and SS knitted gaskets. Product quality was very good and the install went quickly & smoothly. They sound great with the neighbor hatter slip ons. The folks in customer service are outstanding and would recommend them to anyone who appreciates quality products with great service.

Nice pipes, chrome is beautiful. Fit perfectly on my 1997 Road King. Makes it way easier to work on the right side of the motor and tranny by not having to remove the stock crossover pipe. Just wish they would have included new gaskets and possibly new flanges. Sound is a bit nicer than the stock pipes but not necessarily any louder.

Everything went smoothly with the fit and the installation. The price was right and the product was available.

The Cobra True duals header pipes are better than what I was expecting. The quality of the pipes are top grade and the heat shields chrome is amazing. The one piece shields look so much better than the stock three piece ones. The pipes also came with all of the necessary mounting hardware as described. I have not had the time to install them yet but when I do I will further update. I want to add that these pipes look better than the $600 dollar brands that are out there.

These pipes are pretty much as everyone has stated. Thick and solid, chrome has some ripples but as others said not noticeable unless right on it. The one piece heat shield looks great! Perfect fit for my 96 flhpi look and sound great! Highly recommend these headers. Would recommend that the washers that are used to extend the right floor board double it as my floor board still hit the heat shield. Once I put 2 on cleared the shield.

A very well made set of header pipes. Fit and finish was outstanding, as well as coming with directions and all necessary parts. The extra bonus of the True Duals is that it solves the problem of my right leg getting hot while sitting in traffic on a hot summer day! Highly recommended!

Installed on an 02 Ultra with no problems. Perfect fit and no remapping necessary. Might do some map adjustments but bike runs good without it. Noise level is slightly more than stock headers with a throatier sound. Glad I bought and got rid of stock crossover.

I love it when a plan comes together! I had 4 broken header pipes in 150K miles, (Poor Design) good to go now, should have done it much sooner!

Great item but I need to reach out for help. I can't seem to get a socket onto the rear pipe clamp lower nut! Does anyone know how to get this nut tight to seal pipe to cylinder head? I left all mounts (bracket and T-nut) pretty loose so i can move the pipe a bit, but i can't get any tool to it to rotate. Pipe is in the way of socket. Any help is appreciated! FLHRC

Got these for my buddy's bike. Easy to install (his 1st time working on it) & they sound amazing! He said the bike has more power now. Now to get a set for mine!

Great sounding headers, true duals.

Excellent purchase, was hesitant to pull the trigger on these header pipes, but glad I did. Quality is outstanding, chrome is top notch and installation was a breeze. Hardest part is getting the stock headers off. Adds a very nice touch to my Ultra Classic. Plus you get a nice sticker from Cobra! How can you beat that? I just purchased the Cobra 909 mufflers to go with the head pipes. I’ll write a review when I put them on.

If you like for your stuff to match up and run smooth on your bike, don’t go with these. I’m super upset. Also was missing clamp, and nuts bolts. Not a happy camper. Never again! Will spread the news at bike night as well.

Pipes look and sound great. Was able to a have higher RPM without the feeling and sound of being restricted. Only hard part of install was left header bolt above starter.

Bought the true duals a while back, just put them on, very pleased with everything.

The Cobra true duals are exactly what I was hoping for and I am very pleased. Besides being a great value, they look amazing and the quality is 5 star. Packaged well and were a breeze to install. Would highly recommend!

Bought these for my 2001 Electra Glide Classic and I am very happy with them. Easy install that didn't take long. The sound is way better than the head pipes that were on there. I wish I had bought these when I bought the bike. Made the bike sound way better from what I got to hear of it so far. It was raining when I did it so I didn't get to take it for a ride yet and can't wait until I can! They also made it look way better than the stock pipes that were on there. I love the one piece heat shield! Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants better and louder exhaust!

Everything about these pipes is top notch except they are chrome pipes covered by a black heat shield. Bolt right on, fit like they should, good quality materials.

I haven’t installed the pipes yet, not to that point yet. Inspected the product chrome and workmanship - seem to be of excellent quality. Well find out how they fit soon. At this point I would recommend them.

Phenomenal sound and quick delivery! Bike looks so much tougher and the cost was great. My group I ride with heard them once and kicked me to the back if the pack due to the increased sound. Has a real nice bass grumble that increases nicely with throttle.

These headers fit my 2006 road king like the bike was sitting in the shop while they built them! No problems at all, even the chrome covers fit like a glove. Made my bike sound twice as good. Thanks

Easy install, nearly identical to the V&H version at a better cost.

2003 Ultra Classic. I have put these on my other bikes before and they go on fairly easy and is a straight forward installation. I would rate it a 3 beer job. Takes longer to get the old header off, especially if it has some miles on it. Be sure to take the driver foot board off the right hand side of the bike. A air driven cut off wheel works wonders. The rear starter mounted brace explanation is a bit confusing, but essentially it goes on one way. If anything, I wish these came with a flange kit so that you don't have to separate the old stock rear pipe to get to the old flange and snap ring. The original Harley rear pipe was welded together after they installed the snap ring and flange.....go figure. Makes the bike look so much cleaner and of course keeps some of the rear exhaust off of the passenger. This is a well designed set up and Cobra has priced it to make it a good value compared to other units out there which essentially do the same job. Very quick delivery, and good pricing, as usual, from Parts Giant especially in this time of Covid, where most vendors take their time to deliver. Well done! Be safe all

Easy install sounds and runs great. Had to grind a little of the heat shield away, was to close to the starter bolt. Other than that, awesome.

Bolted up great, if you follow the instruction manual to the letter. It goes on fine and the heat shields fit great and look good. Do not worry about any small flaws in the pipes because the heat shields look and fit great. The sound will ultimately depend on your choice of mufflers. And made in USA.

I purchased the Cobra True Duals headers for my 08 Harley Davidson ultra classic anniversary edition and let me tell ya I am not disappointed at all! . The difference in the factory headers and Cobra True Duals are night and Day. The first thing i noticed has the deep sound these produce. It now sounds as a Harley should. I am no longer miserable because of the heat that always baked me while riding which came from the right side. These definitely solved that issue.. The quality of these are outstanding and I have no regrets on this purchase. These not only function better than oem headers but they are even more dresser than original. Shipping was fast and came well protected which I greatly appreciated that manufacturers took the time to well protect these during its shipping process to me. I do highly recommend and save yourself some hard earned money money also by buying these instead of big name stuff!

The Cobra dual headers arrived from Parts Giant very fast. As far as quality, they are more than I expected and look amazing on my 2008 Ultra. It's because Cobra uses a one piece 2-1/2" chrome heat shield. I have installed many exhaust systems and this one was by far the most straightforward. Lot's of room at the end of the pipe for the slip ons to fit. Very well designed Cobra!
