Solid pipes. Sound good and looks nice. Easy installation. Well packaged. Recommend to all.

Each set features the staggered configuration that gives the Dragsters their trimmed-down look and timeless appeal, but then Cobra went ahead and snuck in all the things that make their exhausts famous.

Outstanding product. Sounds Awesome. The beast is now unleashed. Not very neighbor friendly - these pipes are loud!
Just what I wanted.
This was a perfect kit, perfect fit. This is the way things should be. Great design and fitment. The sound is fantastic. The quality is real.
Very nice and looks ok, loud too.
Just put them on my 2023 Vulcan 900 classic Lt. They look great and fit perfectly. I left the baffles in them and really glad I did. The sound is amazing. Loud without being obnoxious.
Very happy with these pipes! Shipping was fast and installation was very easy. They sound great!
Great chrome, great looks, super sound, just a nice product for any bike.
Unbelievable service and product. The exhaust was so easy to install took less than an hour. Delivery was amazingly fast and the produce came with everything needed. I would recommend them for anything you need.
Very happy with the look and especially the way the pipes sound. I took my time installing them. The instructions could have been more clear but overall, better than anticipated! I am in glad I left the baffles in. I can only imagine how loud they'd be without baffles. If you're on the fence....order them!
I bought the cobra dragsters from Giant I am very pleased with how fast I got the product that I ordered, the pipes sound great I was very pleased.
Received my exhaust. It was packaged very well. Installation instructions were easy to read. No issues at all. Great product.
Amazing, bike doesn't sound like a scooter no more, loud with deep roar, sounds good.
Great looking pipes, nice chrome, pretty easy to install. The one knock I would put on them and this is personal preference; they are a little more obnoxious than I expected. Certainly can rub neighbors the wrong way.
Perfect fit easy installation the installation sounds amazing plus give my bike just that much more blam blam.
The best word that I can say is Awesome! Once I out the Cobras on, my bike, it sounds much louder...like I am heard "down the block" loud. I even get more power and torc at the lower gears. I recommend the pipes. You will get the loud big boy pipe sound and more power.
I put these on my bike and the result is awesome! The bike is much louder with a big boy rumble. The pipes also gave me more power and torc in the lower gears. I added an EFI controller. If you are looking for a much louder sound, these are for you. I will definitely recommend these.
Install went pretty well, they recommend removing the floorboard, but honestly there's more to that than removing and installing the exhaust, they should have specified the different size clamps, I had to take the first pipe off and redo, that's the only reason the overall scored 4 not 5 stars. Volume is loud, loving it on my 2017 Vulcan Classic. Didn't cause any tuning issues, overall solid product, instructions are good but could use a couple tweaks.
Looks and sounds great.
Very pleased with the sound, appearance.
I have a '15 Yam Raider S 1900. The ECU has been re-tuned by Ivan’s Performance Products, the airflow increased with a K&N air filter. Before Cobra pipes, I had removed the gigantic tuba OEM pipes baffling with a 4in hole saw (kicking effort to remove). I then placed 2.5 into 4in stainless turbo tips into the end of pipes to softly silence the beast. The bike ran very well. BUT, after taking advice, I replaced the tuba pipes set-up & replaced with COBRA’s drag pipes. Holy cow what a diff...the bike is sick fast off the line and in the mid-upper bandwidths as well. All in all, this is the best transaction I have made all year and all of last year. PartsGiant rocks...and of course likewise with time proven COBRA!
Though more costly than other options, these pipes are well worth the investment. The sound is exactly what I wanted, the install was very easy (30 minutes), and they look great on my ‘06 VT1100C. Highly recommended.
The product was delivered professionally. Awesome product.
Pipes came quickly - beautiful, loud and perfect. Installation was a breeze. Thank you so much!
These pipes have transformed this Honda to a completely different bike! Only took about an hour to install with a few beers. Recommend these pipes all day!
Look really good, had 1 tiny ding in one heat shield, but I didn't feel that was worth hassling over. They look great and sound pretty good, with baffles in. I may experiment with that later.
Wow, just wow. What a difference. Love the new pipes and they sound awesome. Well worthy of the money.
Good sound. No complaints. Could do it solo, but much easier to have an extra set of hands.
Great exhaust! Loud but not to loud.. would buy again.
Installed on a 2010 Kawasaki Vulcan Classic LT. Sounds great and I get a lot of compliments. Definitely worth the money.
Packaging was perfect. A lot louder than stock. Kept the baffles in because i really thought they were perfect out of the box. Very nice look to them. There seems to be much more pick up at the lower gears. FYI there are 2 different size clamps with this setup for the heat shields. Very much worth the money. The part price and quality were great. Sorry if I'm long winded just really happy with my purchase.
Easy install, great sound.
This exhaust sounds amazing. Deep and throaty like a cruiser should sound. They are loud, but not annoyingly loud in my opinion. Super easy installation, took me about 20-30 minutes in the backyard. I was on the fence about buying this, but after messing with my stock exhaust numerous times and not getting the sound I was looking for, finally bit the bullet and very happy that I did. You will not regret buying these pipes. Heavy duty, great quality and awesome sound.
5 Star! Shipping, product and result...all 5 Star! Great job and the pipes sound amazing! Recommend to everyone I know!
Bought the bike with a Cobra slip on muffler but decided to go with this and it is GREAT! Easy installation, noticeable power, and the sound is amazing! A lot deeper and better sound than the Cobra slip on muffler.
These pipes sound amazing. Actually feels as if it added a few hp.
I've never put a exhaust on a bike before but even so it took only about 30min to put the exhaust on. I was going to take the baffles out but I'm glad I didn't because its crazy loud. I love these pipes I would recommend them!
I installed the exhaust sysem 2 days after I ordered it. Cobra system fit perfectly, looks great, and sounds great. Only took about 3 hours to install, probably would have gone quicker if i hadn't mixed a few crown and cokes. 2007 Kawasaki 900 Vulcan Classic Lt
All of the parts fit perfectly, very easy to install and the Cobra Dragsters sound great.
They look clean, sound good, and at a great price. Everything I was looking for.
They have given me an adrenaline rush. They look good they sound great and I couldn’t be happier.
Easy installation, performance is excellent! Better than expected!
Amazing! Best exhaust I ever had.
I have a Honda Shadow Aero 750cc. The stock pipes were very quite. The Cobra Dragster exhaust was easy to install and the bike sounds amazing. Great product for the price.
Installation was a breeze. Super loud could not imagine what it would sound like with the baffles out. Wish they had the Jet kit in stock. Note from staff: Cobra is discontinuing some jet kits. Dynojet has the exact same kit available for most bikes.
The sound, the power both incredible! I honestly cannot believe how much more power I have from these. Its like riding a different bike. As far as the sound goes, holy cow. Went from Jetsons to Mad Max. I was on the fence between these and the slip ons and I am soo glad I went with these. 100% satisfied and highly recommend!
Installed this on my 2015 Kawasaki Vulcan Classic LT. Much louder than the stock exhaust. I installed it on the bike in about 30 minutes. Well worth the money. All parts were quality built in the USA. Installed with a Cobra tuner and air intake.
Pipes sound great, nice and loud. At first I was hesitant to spend this much but you get what you pay for, I'm glad I did. Easy install in under an hour with no special tools.
They fit the 2005 VTX1300 R perfectly. Still working on rejetting the carburetor.
Great products. Great price.
These pipes look great on my vstar 950! Came well packaged and instructions were simple. Sounds great and very loud!
Easy install. Great sound, loud enough with baffles in. Love my bike all over again!
Had a little dent in the top pipe but covers with the shield. Fits and sounds awesome. All around a great experience
All I can say is wow! The stock exhaust I had on my 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 classic was way too quiet and these new cobra dragster pipes blew my expectations out of the water. I’m super happy with how aggressive they sound! Big difference! You won’t be disappointed if you want a louder exhaust.
Packaged well to protect the finish with all the required hardware. Took me about three hours to install, but I took my time. Looks and sounds great on my bike. Would recommend this product to anyone.
Pipes were beyond easy to install with the instructions. I love the sound they produce. They sound great with a moderate loud idle and plenty of sound on acceleration. I am able to hold conversation with the bike at idle and hear every word. I highly recommend using a fuel controller.
More than I expected....easy to install and the extra power is awesome! Highly recommend!!
Very Impressed...I ordered these after i got off work one night then got up next afternoon to go to work an they were on my front porch! Awesome shipping, was looking for long shots, but settled for these, and honestly I'm glad i did, has deep... beefy sound, clean look and the install wasn't bad. I'm also thinking of jetting carb and removing baffles. I bet they will make my bike sound like a Beast!
Bought this for my husband for his 2004 yahama v star 1100 custom, and let me just say ....WOW... These pipes are amazing, the are loud, and gave extra HP, we went rising and he was in 3rd give at 70mph. Now to me that is impressive. The shipping was pretty fast, came in a very well packaged box..Lots of paper, but we looked for the instructions because of never installing before and there were none. so it was atrial an error type of thing. but we got it done, and he loves these pipes, all in all I think that purchase was just what he was looking for, and I have a happy man.. Thank you PartGiant.
Great pipes!! Easy to install
I put these pipes on my 2013 Honda Shadow Aero. These systems look good and have better performance. The Cobras sound great.
Clear concise directions eye and ear candy that delivered perfectly
Quick delivery, easy install, sounds great. Way better than what you will hear it sounds like on you tube...won't be disappointed.
Fast shipping. Great product, installed nicely, look and sound awesome. Was a nice upgrade for the money.
This exhaust is SUPER loud with baffles in. Has a nice deep tone which is a plus. Super fast shipping also! Ordered one day got the next! Couldn’t be happier
I replace the stock pipes with these dragsters. After I put them on my bike, which went smooth, I fired the bike up, and what I heard was a pleasant surprise. I could not be more pleased and it actually gave me a very noticeable power gain. Zero complaints, totally satisfied.
Questions & AnswersAsk Question
Yes, it would be recommended to install a fuel controller or have the bike tuned after installing a full exhaust system such as this Dragster system.
Yes, this system would have baffles.
Yes, it would be recommended to install a jet kit along with a full system. If you search our site for Dynojet Carburetor Jet Kit, you should find what you need.
Typically yes, you would want to install a jet kit to compensate for the more freely flowing exhaust. Otherwise, you may run into issues such as popping.
Yes, you can choose that 2011 Yamaha Stryker for this exhaust system.
Yes, that 2005 Honda Shadow Sabre 1100 is a model you can choose for this system.
Everything on this bike is stock.
It would be recommended to install a fuel tuner when installing a fuel exhaust system on your bike. I suggest searching our site for Dynojet Power Commander FC Fuel Controller. That would be a great addition to your bike with a full exhaust system.
Yes, if you were to choose the XVS1300A V-Star 1300 Cobra Dragster exhaust from our fit guide, you'd get the pipes you need. As far as jetting, you're probably pretty close to ideal if your bike's already been set up for the 2-into-1 exhaust. Just a little tweaking and you should be good to go!
In the case of the 2012 Yamaha V-Star 950 Dragster exhaust, yes - there is an oxygen sensor port included with the exhaust. This holds true for all machines equipped with an OEM O2 sensor(s) - Cobra includes a provision for fitting those sensors. As far as the Fi2000R, while it's not required, if you want to get the most power and best possible throttle response, we strongly recommend the installation of a fuel controller, and especially the Fi2000R, so as to get the best performance out of your bike's engine.
I have a 03' vtx1800s, will I need a power commander or can I just install these and ride?
Yes, any time you change the way air gets into or out of, the motor, you'll want to adjust fueling appropriately to maximize any performance gains available from the new setup. Especially if you're going from a stock exhaust to a full system such as the Cobra Dragsters. A Power Commander is certainly one option, though we prefer the Cobra Fi2000R fuel controller as it's developed by the same company that designed the exhaust system for your bike. It's easy to configure with only three knobs of adjustment on the device, and the included instructions explain clearly how to set up the unit for your bike. There's no need to visit a dyno tuner or otherwise, pay a technician to get your bike fueled correctly. It is for these reasons, we always recommend an Fi2000R with any Cobra exhaust system.
For all Cobra exhausts being fitted to carbureted machines, we always recommend a Cobra Carburetor Jet Kit to go along with your purchase. The jet kits are developed specifically to work with Cobra exhausts and come with everything you need to get the job done properly.
If your bike is completely stock as far as fuel delivery is concerned, then yes - you'll need to add a fuel controller of some sort. We recommend a Cobra Fi2000R fuel tuner for the Vulcan Classic LT. It's simple to install and easy to adjust. The included instructions have a range of settings listed making setup a snap as there are only three dials to adjust. With that, you can have your bike ready to go with the best possible throttle response and engine performance without needing a trip to the dyno.
I have a 2011 m109 do I need power commander with cobra drag pips.
Anytime you swap a complete exhaust system on a fuel injected motorcycle, it is highly recommended to install a fuel tuner. Especially if you have plans to also modify the intake and or cams and pistons.
All of the exhaust systems Cobra produces for the Yamaha Stryker models include an O2 sensor bung for the factory O2 sensor to thread into.
Anytime you change the full exhaust system it is recommend to re-jet or install a fuel tuner on a fuel injected motorcycle. I would suggest the Cobra Fi2000R you can find that unit in our store by searching "Cobra Fi2000R Fuel Controller" in our store search bar.
Cobra currently does not offer a set of quiet baffles for the Dragster line of exhaust system. This system is inherently loud by design. If you wanted to quite a set down, there is a baffle company Big City Thunder out of North Carolina that can build custom baffles for exhaust that may not offer a replacement at this time. I would suggest reaching out to them directly if you wanted a custom set of quiet baffles for this system.
The pipes are designed to make the most power and performance with the baffles installed. You would loose some bottom end pull with the baffles completely removed. As long as you jet or have it tuned accordingly, it should be a non-issue.
Cobra offers three different exhausts to fit your particular machine in the form of the Cobra Dragster Exhaust System, the Cobra Speedster Slashdown Exhaust System, and the Cobra Speedster Swept Exhaust System. All of those exhausts completely replace the stock exhaust system on the Raider SCL. Basically, all you have to do is unbolt the stock system, and put the Cobra exhaust in its place. If you're comfortable with, for example, doing an oil change, the exhaust system won't be very difficult at all. The included instructions for all exhausts we sell, and especially those form Cobra, do an excellent job of explaining the whole process, step-by-step. All you need is a set of metric hand tools and an evening in the garage to get it all sorted out. With the Raider SCL exhaust, there are no special tools required to swap out the pipes on your bike.
If your bike is completely stock as far as fuel delivery is concerned, then yes - you'll need to add a fuel controller of some sort. A Power Commander is one option, but for the sake of simplicity (and expense since you needn't visit a dyno tuner), we recommend a Cobra Fi2000R fuel tuner for the Honda Shadow Aero. It's simple to install and easy to adjust. The included instructions have a range of settings listed making setup a snap as there are only three dials to adjust. With that, you can have your bike ready to go with the best possible throttle response and engine performance without needing a trip to the dyno.
No, the intake and exhaust side of the bike are completely separate, and you don't need to order both at the same time. You will, however, want to order a Cobra Jet Kit (if it's a VTX1300 you have) or a Cobra Fi2000R fuel controller if you have a VTX1800, in order to get the most power output and best possible throttle response from your engine. That is to say, if you're going from a stock exhaust to a full system - you will need to adjust fuel delivery in order to get the most out of your new exhaust. Both, the jet kit and fuel controller come with simple-to-follow instructions that'll get you set up as required for your specific tuning needs. Best of all, you won't even need to make a tripe to the dyno to get going!
If your bike has a completely stock tune on it, then yes - you'll certainly want to upgrade fuel delivery in order to get the most out of the new Dragster exhaust pipes for your VTX. To do that, we recommend the Cobra Jet Kit as it's specifically engineered to work with Cobra's exhaust systems. The exhaust itself comes with all the required mounting hardware, but you will be re-using some of the OEM exhaust mounting brackets and bolts. So long as you have the stock exhaust on your machine, you won't have any problems fitting the new pipes to your bike. Other than that, the included instructions for both, the jet kit and exhaust, explain how to do everything. All you need are simple metric hand tools and an evening or two in the garage to get it done.
I have an 07 Honda VTX 1800 R with 2 O2 sensors hanging out.
In the case of the 2007 Honda VTX1800R, you'll need to add a Cobra O2 Sensor Eliminator to your order to fit this exhaust to your machine. This is due to the fact that Cobra Dragster exhausts for the VTX1800 models are equipped with an oxygen sensor port. So long as you add that to your order, you'll have everything you need to fit this exhaust to your bike.
If your bike is stock and you're going to be adding a full exhaust system, yes, we absolutely recommend the addition of a fuel tuning device in order to be sure your machine runs properly. For your machine, we have a Cobra Fi2000R Yamaha Raider fuel controller that'll do an excellent job of meeting the Yamaha Raider Dragster exhaust systems' fuel requirement. Installation of the fuel controller is simple and requires no permanent modification to your bike. Just add it on, adjust as recommended in the easy-to-follow instructions and hit the road! Best of all, there's no need to visit a tuning shop as the device only has three dials on it to adjust in order to get the best possible throttle response and engine power output with the new exhaust.
Do I need to get it tuned afterwards?
Yes, this exhaust will fit your machine. Just choose the 2018 Kawasaki VN900D Vulcan 900 Classic LT exhaust from our fit guide and you'll be all set! As far as tuning goes, yes, we always recommend that fuel delivery be adjusted in order to compensate for the improvement in exhaust flow. In this way, you can be sure to get the best possible benefit of power and throttle response in the new exhaust. To tune it properly, we recommend a Cobra Fi2000R fuel controller. It's simply to install and configure. Plus, the included instructions explain exactly how to tune it for your exact needs. And, with only three adjustments to be made, it's a rather simple device to configure to get the most out of your new exhaust system.
Yes, all Cobra Dragster exhaust systems come with the required installation hardware. For some models, such as the Shadow 1100, you'll need to re-use some of the OEM exhaust mounting bolts and brackets, but otherwise, everything is included in the box. So long as you have the stock exhaust on your machine, you won't have a problem installing this, or any other Cobra exhaust we sell!
Cobra exhaust systems do not include exhaust gaskets of any kind. Provided the original gaskets on your machine are in good condition, you could certainly re-use those to complete the installation of this exhaust. No less, if you want to be absolutely sure the installation will go without issue, we do have a massive selection of exhaust gaskets available on our website that'll fit your exact model.
If your bike has a completely stock tune on it, then yes - you'll certainly want to upgrade fuel delivery in order to get the most out of the new Dragster exhaust pipes for your Rocker. To do that, we recommend the Cobra Fi2000R Fuel Controller as it's specifically engineered to work with Cobra's exhaust systems. Plus, should you decide to add an aftermarket air cleaner in the future, adjusting the tuner is quick and easy. The included instructions do an excellent job of explaining how to configure the device and tweak it using one of the three rotary knobs on the device itself, to get the best possible power output improvement for your bike's exact configuration.
You can expect this exhaust to be significantly louder than the stock exhaust on your bike. As a general rule, Drag Pipes are some of the loudest pipes on the market, for any machine you choose. Cobra includes a set of their standard baffles with this exhaust. Removing them is a simple affair, just a single bolt holds each baffle in place. And of course, pulling them out will make them louder but it really doesn't make much difference in terms of performance. What those exact numbers are, I can't say since Cobra doesn't provide sound level or power output data with any of the pipes they build. As far as power is concerned, when properly tuned, yes - you can certainly expect greater engine power and improved throttle response. For Cobra exhausts, we recommend the Cobra Fi2000R fuel controller as it's developed specifically to work with all Cobra exhaust and intake products.
If your bike is running with stock carburetors, then yes - you need to add a jet kit to your order to be sure it runs correctly. Cobra has a range of jet kits that are perfectly suited to work with their exhaust system as they're developed in tandem for the best possible performance. You can find those on our Cobra Carburetor Jet Kit page. To ease with installation and set up, the jet kits come with a set of well-written instructions that explain exactly how to install the bikes and give you a good idea of where to start based upon your bike's set up. From there, clear guidance is given to tweak jetting for perfect fuel delivery.
For most applications, and especially late-model machines, yes - Cobra's Dragster exhaust system will be lighter than the OEM exhaust.
The overall diameter of the Drag Pipes from is the same from the headers all the way through to the mufflers. Obviously, the mufflers will have a smaller inner diameter with the baffles installed. Those baffles are easily removable. For Harley-Davidson applications, these pipes have a 1-3/4" diameter from tip to tail. The heat shields that go over the actual pipes are a little wider.
Yes, all Cobra exhaust are covered by a one year manufacturer's warranty against flaws in workmanship and material. The exhaust's finish, on the other hand, is covered by a manufacturer's lifetime warranty against discoloration. If, at any point during that time you have a problem with the exhaust, Cobra will be happy to help you out. Of course, we're able to assist with those needs as well, just let us know and we'll be sure to help you out.
Upon the installation of a full exhaust system (when going from a completely stock configuration, at least), we always recommend that you adjust fuel mapping in order to get the most out of the new exhaust system. The Kawasaki Vulcan's OEM ECU just isn't able to compensate for the massive change. Consequently, you'll find the bike stutters at a steady throttle and maybe even falls flat when you make even a slight change in throttle position. These traits are particularly annoying, and you're certainly not getting all the added power that's avail with the new system. To mitigate all of this, we highly recommend a Cobra Fi2000R Fuel Controller. The unit is very easy to install and configure. Plus, the included instructions explain exactly how to set up the device for your specific needs (there are only three adjustment knobs on it, similar to a carburetor).
