Bit of a pain to install with the design of my bike, overall looks good, filters easy enough to change, do not regret in any sense of the term.

Customer ReviewsWrite Review
I absolutely loved this intake!
Item is wonderful and easy to install. The instructions is a bit confusing. I just look up at YouTube. It works great, smaller than OEM filter so it doesn't bump on my right knee anymore.
Couldn't be happier with the price, quality, performance, and appearance. It really dressed up my bike and gave it a little more pop when I hit the throttle. I'd highly recommend buying the cobra tuner as well.
Fits perfectly on my 2010 fury no mods whatsoever and built solid not like the plastic stock one.
Intake looks good and is smaller than the stock set up giving more room around the intake and leg room. Install and directions were not so good, would recommend running a tap thru all of the bolt holes prior to install, not very impressed with the quality....brackets and mounting seem cheaper and had to use a tap to get bolts to work properly.
Works as advertised, manufacturing quality is great. Instructions are complete. Shipping great.
Speedy delivery of a quality product. Solid unit. Well packaged and easy install instructions. Thank you!
Perfect product and fast customer service questions answered.
Quality components, easy to install.
Great quality, good looks, pulls in way more air the stock filter.
Wow! Big difference than stock. It actually smoothed out the revs so I could run the gears a bit longer. It really helps on my SCR950. Easy 20 minute install and a bit better riding comfort (huge stock intake hadda go). Seems a bit snappier but now I need an exhaust to really wake it up.
Definitely increased the airflow, definitely need the new EFI controller I ordered, but completely expected, looks great, easy install.
Adds an awesome look, better performance, solid construction, and easy install. Cobra makes great parts and have good installation instructions.
Beautiful addition to my bike. Really makes it pop instead of the cheap plastic stock air filter box.
I like the quality, the look & the performance of the Cobra Powerflo intake. Fast easy installation, instant improvement from take off to Rev range. Not expensive, so the price tag is exceptional.
I love the look and the way the bike sounds. I highly recommend the Cobra tuner with it.
Definitely a performance boost on my 2021 Harley Freewheeler. Looks great. Chrome finish is flawless and is a big enhancement over the stock air cleaner, which already looked pretty good.
Love this intake...went on great and performs great! Very happy with my purchase!
Installation was fairly simple, noticed better performance instantly! I noticed I get more out of each gear. And makes passing on the highway easier! Overall pleased and plus it’s such a good looking set up!
Great look! Easy install!
Got the 2 in 1 exhaust along with the powerflo, my bike runs great and sounds even better. All in all everything took me about 2 hours to install. Instructions are easy to follow if you're unfamiliar with intake systems. Super happy with the product!
Great product and easy installation. Would highly recommend!
Great part. Well made. Includes pretty good instructions. Straight forward install aside from a couple very tight engine cover bolts that hold the new bracket.
Love the look of my 06 Kawasaki Vulcan with this powerflo intake. Looks awesome.
It is very high quality and beautiful finish. I love it!
The intake looks amazing and was easy to install. Only gripes are that there is a small filter that goes on the end of the larger intake hose, this fitting is too small and it takes a aftermarket clamp to get snug. Also if you are going to put this on your carb go ahead and invest in upgrading the carb with a jet kit. That's something they don't tell you and it will save you a big headache (changes the air flow so it runs lean after installation). Overall its a great investment.
I have a 2013 Honda fury it fit perfectly and increased my power. I put new pipes on and a tuner with it. Huge difference
I feel to have a metric bike and be able to put on a mod to get that much more power for that value is exceptional.
I installed Cobra Neighbor Haters on my 2015 H-D Ultra Limited last year, and I paired this intake with the Cobra Fi2000r fuel management yesterday. Amazing performance, better sound from the NH exhaust. Easy 30 minute install for this part of the upgrade. When accelerating you can hear much more air getting into the engine.
Fit perfect. Thumbs up.
Looks and works great. Big improvement over stock intake. You will hear the sucking air intake.
Good quality of material!
I didn't just go for the look, I wanted the extra horsepower and delivery. As soon as I give it gas it wanted to take off, I love it and the look is better then I expected.
It is a very nice intake and was easy to install looks good. Works excellent to my liking. Would highly recommend this product. Very nice.
Really adds to the sharpness of the bike.
I am not a mechanic and still it took me just 30 minutes to install myself. Noticed an increase in performance from the first ride after installation, plan to upgrade to the Cobra pipes in the near future. Highly recommend this product.
Great product it is exactly what I thought it would be. Easy to install took no more than 20 mins.
This intake looks amazing on my vulcan 900 custom! Works great and easy to install! Please note that if you do buy this you do have to remove old air valve off stock intake and install on new one! Highly recommend this intake to anyone looking for high quality product!
I got this intake system and it is the coolest. Installation was easy and it looks and sounds great.
Probably the most well built and highest quality air intake system I’ve seen on the market today! I could tell a difference immediately and coupled with the cobra slip on exhaust and the cobra Fi2000 tuner. My bike woke up!
Looks great and doesn't take up much space. After my experience I bought pipes three days later.
Looks good. Super easy install. Works great. What more could you ask for.
Looks great and seems to work well letting the engine take in more needed air flow & volume.
Great item, great price! What more could you want?
Just buy it, you wont regret it, trust me. Looks great in black.
Although the cost is pricey I love the looks and quality of it. Seems to improve the engine response. Looks great on the bike.
This item installed pretty easy as well with my street rod pipes and engine guards. Same day, a few hours of dismounting OEM parts and installing all these aftermarkets parts. Love the whole process. I have rode a couple of times but I cant say there is any change in performance with both items, but it rocks in looks and sound!
Comes with everything you need to install, easy install instructions. Took about 30 minutes to take off stock intake and install new one. Works and sounds great
Cobra Powrflo Kit looks perfect. This is my first order from y’all, but I’ll definitely be back, and recommend you to my friends!
Exact fit. Easy to install. Looks great.
Works perfectly on my Harley Davidson Sportster 883. I have limited mechanical abilities and even I figured this one out.
Looks great, functions well, but...if you ever need to replace the tiny little air filter, WOW...only available from Cobra at over 70.xx plus even though K&N makes the filter, they can't supply it, must be purchased at Cobra. I've been told they are treated with oil and you can just blow them out with air. Mine is starting to crush a little from being in place for a year but I blew it off with air, got oil on my fingers, but it still didn't look that clean but I put it back inside. Don't have another 70 bucks to spare right now and there is no reason a filter that small should cost that much. That's why my ratings are down on this product.
Great quality product at an affordable price.
I am more than satisfied with the product, easy to install and the right price. If you owe a Honda Shadow, you should definitely consider switching to the cobra powerflo intake :)
I love this intake. It's not the cheapest on the market, but the fit and finish was perfect and installation was a breeze. Looks fantastic on the bike. When installed with aftermarket pipes and a tuner, it's a whole new bike.
I always liked style of the Cobra Powerflo, it adds up that hotrod look and takes a lot less space than stock airbox, doesn't stick out that much and provides more leg room. I installed it along with Cobra slashdown pipes and fuel controller and it feels like I got a different engine!
Put it on easily. Looks good, works great.
Looks good - works good.
I purchased the cobra PowerBook system. The hardware was missing, service sent me a new order within a day. Doing more business with them as we speak.
I recently purchased the PowerFlo and it is night and day. The installation was quick and easy. If you are impatient like me, go ahead and get the K&N spray oil so you can have that sitting after you spray it while you install the PowerFlo. Customer service at Partsgiant is exceptional and I have now ordered the Cobra FI2000 from the as well. I will order from here from now on!
Questions & AnswersAsk Question
Yes, so long as you check out for a 2020 FLHTCUTG, you would get the correct intake for that bike.
I reading im the comments that riders are having to install extra parts. I was wondering if it's because their bikes are carb.
It would be recommended to install a fuel tuner in order to get a more proper flow of fuel going through with the added flow of the intake and pipes installed.
Yes, that bike is one that can be chosen from the vehicle selection drop down. So long as you choose that 2014 FLHTK Ultra Limited you would receive the correct intake.
Yes, Cobra includes detailed installation instructions with this intake.
Yes, this would be a kit to completely replace the stock intake on that 2017 Honda Fury. You would not need any additional parts to make it work/fit.
Everything you would need to install this intake would be included. I do not see that anything extra would be required for installation.
While it's not required, yes - we do recommend that you adjust fuel delivery in order to get the best possible throttle response and engine performance out of the new intake. For your particular application, we recommend a Cobra Carburetor Jet Kit. It comes with everything you need to get the most out of the PowrFlo Intake system.
Any K&N branded filter service kit will work just fine. It normally includes a bottle of spray degreaser to clean the filter and can of spray oil to re-lube the filter for use.
In the case of the 2005 Yamaha V-Star 1100 Classic intake kit from Cobra, yes, you will need to re-jet your bike. The difference in air delivery to the combustion chamber is significantly different than stock. Consequently, you must re-jet your bike. The good news is that Cobra has a V-Star 1100 Classic jet kit specifically engineered to work with their intakes and exhausts. Plus, the included instructions explain exactly how to go about configuring your carburetor to get the most out of your new intake.
All of Cobra's intake systems can be used with any of fuel controller that we sell. The big thing is that, whichever controller you choose, it must be properly configured to work with your bike's configuration. The nice thing about the Fi2000R from Cobra is that it comes with setup instructions that don't require a trip to a tuning shop in order to get the most out of it. The Power Commander V, on the other hand, if you expect to get your money's worth with that, a trip to a competent dyno tuner is must. Sure, you can download some of the maps on Dynojet's website, but you may not be able to find your bike's exact configuration in those files. You may get lucky and find exactly what you need, but you'll still have to hook up the PC-V to a computer in order to put that map on it. The Fi2000R has a set of three control pots on it and requires no separate components to get the most out of it. The vast majority of our customers have been very happy with it. It's simple to use, easy to install and can be configured to work with just about any aftermarket and/or air intake component on the market.
i haven't heard good reviews on their tuner thats why i'm asking. thank you
While it's not required, yes - we do recommend that you adjust fuel delivery in order to get the best possible throttle response and engine performance out of the new intake. Still, you may want to try running the bike without tuning it so as to see how it goes for you, Provided there's no problem with throttle response, and the engine performs well, then you should be just fine without it. Most modern ECUs are able to cope with the change without too much trouble, albeit - you may not be getting the most out of the intake without modifying the fuel maps. With regard to Cobra's tuners, most of the complaints that have been levied against them come from users who installed a slip-on exhaust on their bike, and then expected the Fi2000R to match up fuel delivery perfectly straight out of the box. The reality is, at least with a slip-on exhaust, you actually have to reduce fuel input, on the fuel controller that is - in order for the bike to run correctly. This is due to the fact that Cobra's tuners come pre-configured to work with a full exhaust system. Some users don't understand that the knobs on the device actually have to be dialed back, otherwise, it runs way too rich and then you get the poor performance woes you see on occasion. Our experience with the devices has been excellent, and the included instructions for Cobra's fuel tuners clearly explain how to configure the unit based upon the way the bike responds to throttle input and the way it runs. There are only three rheostats to adjust, so getting it set up properly is akin to adjusting a carburetor - quick and simple!
The air filter included on this, and all other Cobra intake kits, is pre-oiled at the factory. It's ready to go once you get everything installed on your bike.
Cobra doesn't provide anything in the way of mileage statements for any of their components, so it's hard to say what, if any - changes will occur. Most of the difference in mileage comes from fuel delivery, more than intake/exhaust changes. That is to say, if you were to modify jetting or the ECU fuel maps, there will be change in mileage. How much those changes would be, of course, is difficult to say.
Yes, we do indeed have a 2009 Yamaha V-Star 950 PowrFlo intake system that'll fit your bike. Just choose your exact machine from our fit guide, and you'll get all the required parts to complete the installation. There's no need to purchase any additional intake parts to fit this V-Star 950 air intake system to your bike.
Yes, it most certainly would work! WE only recommended the PowrPro Fuel Tuner as it's just a plug-in and forget it type of device. The Fi2000R will work just as well, albeit, you'll have to spend a little time configuring it for perfect fuel delivery.
Yes, we highly recommend that you order a VTX1300S Cobra Jet Kit to go along with this particular intake. In this way, you can be assured the best possible engine performance and throttle response.
All required installation hardware is included with every Cobra PowerFlo Intake System. In the case your machine is equipped with an oil breather that's attached to the Cobra air cleaner, a provision for routing it correctly is included with the kit. The included installation instructions explain everything you need to know about getting your bike set up with this nifty intake kit!
While water ingestion is always a concern with the installation of an aftermarket air cleaner intake system, this is mostly mitigated by the K&N air filter that's included with this particular kit. Every Cobra PowrFlo intake system uses a K&N air filter element that's coated in a special water-repellent air filter oil. In this way, the water ingestion problem isn't to worry about. In fact, you can ride the bike in a downpour without issue. One thing, however, that's particularly critical is that you must service the air filter as soon as possible after a particular wet ride. We recommend the K&N Air Filter ReCharger Kit to keep the filter in top water and dirt-repelling condition.
It's certainly not required to change the way your bike is fueled with the installation of this (or any other aftermarket air cleaner) but, to get the best possible performance, it's always recommended. Any time you change the way air gets into or out of the engine, you'll want to modify fueling accordingly to get the best possible throttle response and engine power output. For Cobra's PowerFlo Intake System, we recommend Cobra's Fi2000 PowrPro Fuel Tuner to go along with it. We have those available in our store, ready to go.
