Has actual written instructions

Just what I wanted, easy to bolt up. And they sound deep and not obnoxious at all. Has actual written instructions instead of scanning a bar code, I'm old school.

Awesome exhaust, sounds great

Very nice sound

By   on

I purchased these twin slashes to replace the OE exhaust for my 09 Boulevard. The sound is outstanding! My bike previously sounded like a lame lawn mower or so my friend teased. Now it is not overly loud but definitely better. Not doubt worth the money.

A much needed upgrade

By   on  Verified Purchaser

Definitely an improvement over the stock exhaust on my 2015 Stryker. Has a very nice deep rumble. Not overly loud. Used a db meter app to test it. App showed it between 85-90 db. With stock I heard more wind noise than exhaust in my helmet, not anymore. Overall extremely happy with the sound and visual improvement this exhaust has made.

Awesome Pipes!!

Made my Stryker sound like a Harley!

V&H Staggereds

Made my Stryker sound like a Harley and can hear that powerful motor the way it was meant to!

Pipes on the Boulevard

By   on

The first pipes I ordered and the only pipes, thus far! These things sound great! I feel like a real biker!

Questions & Answers

Ask Question

i just purchased the full exhaust for my 2020 Vulcan VN900c custom. Do i need a tuner if so what performance benefits will it bring.

Yes, it would be recommended to install a fuel tuner along with a full exhaust system. The tuner will provide the fuel needed for that more freely flowing exhaust which in turn will provide better throttle response and power.

Answer Question

Will this fit my 2020 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 custom? Also will my bike need tuned after installing this exhaust?

Yes, that is one of the models you can choose from the vehicle selection. It would be recommended to add a tuner as well to compensate for the more freely flowing exhaust. I suggest the Cobra Fi2000R Fuel Controller.

Answer Question

For a 2011 Yamaha Stryker, would I be able to connect to the O2 sensor and do you need an extension? And should the O2 sensor be connected if I also plan on using Cobra Air Intake and the fi2000r fuel tuner?

Yes, there is an O2 sensor port on this system for you to use the stock O2 sensor in.

Answer Question

Is this pipe will fit to my 2008 Suzuki M50.

Yes, if you were to select the 2008 Suzuki VZ800 Boulevard M50 Vance & Hines exhaust system from our fit guide which is immediately to the right of the main image on our website, you'd receive the correct parts to fit your machine.

Answer Question

Will these fit a 2013 vulcan 900 custom & if so, will I need a fuel tuner?

Yes, if you were to choose the 2013 Kawasaki VN900C Vulcan 900 Custom exhaust system from our fit guide, you'd receive the correct exhaust to fit your machine. With regard to the fuel tuner, while it's not required, if you want to get the biggest power gains and the best possible throttle response out of the new exhaust system, we always recommend that you install a fuel tuner on your bike. For the 2013 Kawasaki VN900C Vulcan 900 Custom fuel tuner, we recommend the Cobra Fi2000R Fuel Controller. It's easy to install, and comes pre-configured to work with a full aftermarket exhaust system.

Answer Question

What fuel tuner would you suggest to go with these pipes? 2013 yamaha stryker.

For the 2013 Yamaha Stryker and a full exhaust system, we recommend the Cobra Fi2000R Fuel Controller. It's easy to install, and comes pre-configured to work with a full aftermarket exhaust system. Plus, the included instructions do an excellent job of explaining exactly how to dial the device in (there are only three knobs) and you don't ever have to visit the dyno.

Answer Question

Do I need fuel tuner to use this on my 2009 Suzuki C50T

While it's not required, if you want to get the biggest power gains and the best possible throttle response out of the new exhaust system, we always recommend that you install a fuel tuner on your bike. For the 2009 Suzuki C50T fuel tuner, we recommend the Cobra Fi2000R Fuel Controller. It's easy to install, and comes pre-configured to work with a full aftermarket exhaust system.

Answer Question

are the standard baffles loud?

The standard baffles that comes with the Vance & Hines Twin Slash exhausts are certainly a lot louder than stock. Whether or not that qualifies as loud enough for you is hard to say. If you were to install the exhaust and find that it's still not loud enough, you could try running the bike without 'em in if you wanted the maximum sound level possible. Albeit, the bike would require some tuning in order to get it to run correctly in that configuration.

Answer Question

Does this exhaust come with both street and competition baffles?

Vance & Hines Twin Slash Staggered exhausts system ships with standard Vance & Hines baffles. Should you need a set of Vance & Hines quiet baffles or Vance & Hines Competition baffles, simply contact our customer service team to be sure you get the right baffles for your needs.

Answer Question

I have a 2011 Yamaha Stryker, does this exhaust come in chrome?

In the case of the Stryker, Vance & Hines only builds that exhaust in a black finish. The closest thing I could find in terms of looks to fit your bike would be the Cobra Speedster Slashdown exhaust system.
