Since softtail deluxe doesn't come with heel shifter. Would I need a spacer for this set up

Nope! That's what's so cool about these shifters - they bolt straight in place of the OEM unit without the need to fuss with spacers or buy any other parts. Just pull the stock shift lever off and put this one in its place. A two minute job and you're ready to ride.

No modification or welding. 2016 switchback.

Yes, if you were to select the 2016 Harley Davidson FLD Dyna Switchback shifter from the fit guide on our website, you'd receive the correct components to fit your bike. It would bolt on straight in place of the OEM shift lever without modification - no welding, no cutting &etc. Just out with the old lever and in with the new!
