Read other reviews these wear out around 3-4 thousand miles I put extra grease an some gear oil in the gears. I adapted to my Chief had to cut a washer for axel fit. You won't find any better part for this.

It fit and worked as it should with no problems.

Dropped right in on my 88 883 Sportster. Solidly built. Threads matched up well with my speedo sheath. Tap that fits into rotor seems solid & should last. I installed an aftermarket spoke wheel so had to drill a 1/4" small indent into the hub under the cutout in the rotor where the speedo unit tab fits in. The stock wheel had that drilled indent in the hub. If you don't do this the tab will be raised a bit off the rotor & May jump out of the rotor cutout when speedo unit is operating at speed. Good product. Would buy again for sure. Quick ship from my go to PG parts team.

The only reason for not going 5 star all the way was the tang. Thankfully I had read on a forum to check the length of the tang as if it was too long it could cause premature failure. My unit would not sit flush without filing the tang down. (Much better than being too short). That said, I would definitely buy again and recommend to others.
