Kuryakyn LED Battery Gauge

Kuryakyn's LED battery gauge is an array of LEDs indicating the operating voltage of the bike's electrical system
Green LEDs represent the normal operating range of your charging system, 12.5v to 14.5v
Amber LEDs warn the rider that the bike is not charging
Red LEDs will flash if the reading drops below 10v or exceeds 15v to alert the rider of an impending stall or the possibility of damage to the battery and/or sensitive electronic components on the motorcycle
Simple two-wire connection
Compact size (about 2" x .75" x 3/16") make installation a breeze
Daylight sensor automatically adjusts the brightness of the LEDs

Questions & Answers

Is it wired to the battery, or to a switch on mode when the ignition is engaged?

It's a pretty simple installation and can be wired either way. There are only two leads on the instrument. Of course, we recommend wiring it to the ignition-side of your bike's wire harness so it doesn't drain your battery when your machine is switched off.

Is the backside of the indicator Flat and is the back chromed

The instrument is flat on its hind surface and includes a peel-off adhesive backing. The chassis is made of plastic and is entirely finished in chrome or black, all the way around.
