Product Description

Yoshimura RS-5 Race Series Slip-On Exhaust

If you're looking for that competitive edge, look no further than Yoshimura's Race Series exhausts. These exhaust components are designed with nothing but power in mind. Each Race Series system is developed in accordance with noise compliance regulations imposed by most race sanctioning bodies worldwide.

The RS-5 slip-on muffler is one of Yoshimura's most popular kits, and for good reason. Its trapezoidal shape appeals to the eye and really captures the spirit of racing. It also complements the look of any machine following the race-inspired lines of today's under-tail exhaust configurations. The RS-5 features a straight baffle with a removable low-volume insert, and trick carbon fiber cone-end cap.

  • Trapezoid-shaped muffler sleeve
  • Large volume of packing material
  • Straight baffle for ample flow
  • Carbon fiber end-cap
  • Includes all required hardware and installation instructions

Questions & Answers

  • His this a complete exhaust system all the way to the head or half way.

This Yoshimura exhaust is a slip-on muffler. It only replaces the OEM muffler on the machine, so less than half the exhaust is replaced.

  • Do I need any special tools to install? Can do it myself

    By: Floydy C.

Installation is rather straight forward for any machine that you select from our fit guide. All required hardware is included in the kit, although you may need to re-use some of the stock exhaust bolts in order to finish the installation. The instructions show you exactly what is required to do the work. So long as you have metric wrenches and sockets in your tool kit, you should be all set.
