Cobra Slip-On Exhaust with Scalloped Tip

The stock Switchback sounds more like a metric, so installing a better, richer sounding slip on which also improves performance. Install was straight forward, but the 'slip' needed some tape from a rubber mallet on the mounting hardware. Coupled with a V&H FP4 Tuner, the improvement was immediate. Great sound, better performance... yes, I'm happy!

Installed the Cobra Slip-On Mufflers w/Scalloped Tips on my 2006 GL1800 last weekend. Very happy! Easy install - fit perfectly. They increased my gas mileage and improved my acceleration! Did I mention how great they sound?

Easy install sounds lots better then stock the hardest part of install was removing the stock muffler, a little shot of W-D40 helps the removal

The Cobra Slip on is a great looking exhaust with a nice throaty sound. We had to enlarge one of the holes on the pipe bracket to get both the bolts to fit through but other than that the installation was quick and easy. What a difference in sound.

Looks good sounds good easy to install only if you start the heat shield with screws before before you slip on the new muffler but do not tighten heat shield until you slide on the muffler, it really has a good sound when you pour on the gas, only takes about 20 minutes if you do as I described, it was packaged very good with no damage, it makes your bike sound like a beast when you throttle down, it kinda feels like it gives more torque.

After hearing all the videos on YouTube I was still skeptical of how it really would sound in person. I was pleasantly surprised at how awesome and beefy it sounds in person. I use to say my bike sounded like the Jetsons vehicle now my neighbors know when I'm leaving. Very happy with this cost effective way to upgrade your sound!

So it wasn't as easy for me as I was thinking it would be. Unbolting the old muffler was a breeze. First attempt of installing the cobra slip on was going good till it was time to put the chrome flange piece on and it would not work so back off with the slip on so here's a tip: install the chrome flange piece first before trying to mount the slip on on. Once on I cross thread one of the two bolt holes here is another tip DO NOT USE THE BOLTS PROVIDED WITH THE SLIP ON use your old bolts; ended up having to drill out and drop a stainless steel bolt in to hold pipe on. Other than that the slip on performed as said. Without tuner it does have a small back fire but sounds good for slip on. I do wish I would have just got some long shots instead but overall I'm happy for the money. 2007 Yamaha XVS1300CT V-Star 1300 Tourer

I had a hard time getting the right one off, it’s very snug, sound great not too loud but definitely big difference!

20 minute easy install on a 2013 Vstar 1300. Loud if you really get on the throttle, but not overbearing when you're sitting at a light at idle or at highway speeds. Much quieter than straight pipes. Performance increase was minimal if any, but am running without a controller. Bike runs fine without the controller, any popping only happens occasionally on a very fast throttle down, not during normal shifts or driving and is muffled pretty well. Really nice growl if you're at the sweet rpm spot. Very happy.

Installation was fast, very easy Muffler was installed in less than 20 minutes. It has a really nice sound to it also helps the bike run a lot better especially through the lower gears and out through mid-range. Much better throttle response with no hiccups whatsoever.

I received it sooner than promised, it was a really easy install on my 2015 Yamaha 1300 Tourer. The instructions were spot on and it took me just under an hour to remove the old Muffler and install the new one. Looks great on the bike, sounds great also. Not so loud that it has the neighbors upset but loud enough that it brings a smile to my face while I'm riding.

Are you kidding! I ordered the Cobra slip on Tuesday morning and it arrived Wednesday afternoon at my door. I haven’t even had time to take my bike out of the garage to install. It came well packaged with great instructions, should be a snap to put on. Who needs that Amazon Prime thing when you have great fast shipping like this for free.

Gave my 1300 a real throaty sound. Fell in love the first time I started my v star. Parts giant has great service. I will be a repeat customer. Delivery was way faster then I imagine.

Took less than 2 hours. I went slow and careful. Spent 20 minutes trying to get screws in heat shield. My advice..take it off, put on heat shield just don't tighten down. It will still slip on. Should have done this 4 years ago when I bought it. Now it sounds like a real motorcycle. Performance was improved.

I installed this on my 2010 vstar 950. Took about 15 mins including the time it took to get the tools together. Very easy install, and the exhaust sounds phenomenal. I ordered these Cobra slip-on pipes Thursday morning and they were at my front door Friday afternoon. I couldn't be happier with the service. With help from brother in law, stock muffler was off my Stryker and Cobra's on in 20-30 minutes. Sound is awesome from gear 1-5. I would recommend not only these slip-on pipes but Parts Giant to anyone.

10 minute install on my 2014 Dyna Switchback only because my old muffler didn't want to come off. Sounds much better than the stock muffler. Still idles fairly quiet but has a decent sound when you are pulling through the gears. Seems to run better too. No real data on the running part but definitely feels better.

I must say the muffler was well packed. Needless to say the old muffler was still warm when i finished the install about 20 minutes later. The sound is great, a little louder than i expected, but that's ok. Still sounds great and wow what a boost in power. Fantastic job.

This slip on was very easy to put on and just the right loud growl when you hit the throttle and when you let off the throttle just a nice sound and you can't beat the price. I did remap my bike but I don't think you have to with this slip on. I didn't hear the difference after remapping the bike, or feel difference.

The Cobra Slip on Muffler was easy to install. Took 20 minutes to remove old muffler and install new one. Everything lined up perfectly. Prior to starting up bike I used Chrome Polish to clean off all prints and dirt from new muffler from installation. When I started up the bike Heaven's Gates opened up. Now it sounds like I have a motorcycle. Should not annoy the neighbors yet manly enough that the bike sounds respectable. Once I got it on the road and the muffler warmed up it seems to get even louder, which I loved. I am 100% satisfied with Parts Giant and the Product.

2009 vstar 950. 3 fasteners to remove muffler. Cobra sent new hardware. Installation was very easy. Fired up the bike and was very pleased. It feels safer having a bit extra noise to make others aware of me. Great value in my opinion. Louder than i thought it would be.

Easy to install, took it slow to make sure I didn't scratch anything in the install process. Sounds great, looks great. When starting out in 1st gear bike used to have a lack of power. That is gone, throttle response is instant know. Should have replaced it last year. Just ordered fuel tuner, can't wait to feel the difference when that's installed.

Very fast shipping, I don't know who packed the box at Cobra but they love to use newspaper, to the point I lost the pack with the heat shield and bolts in that mess. Anyway, fairly easy install, if you can remove the old one you can install this one. The only thing I can say I don't like is its louder than I wanted for my Stryker, it sounds good but it's loud.
