Questions & Answers

  • What is the biggest difference between the SuperTrapp "racing series" and the "quiet series" if these mufflers are tune-able to sound?

    2001 Suzuki DR650.

    By: Jake

Sound output on both mufflers is indeed tune-able, the difference is the internal design of each unit. The Racing Series muffler, naturally, has a straight-through design while the Quiet Series muffler uses a series of pipes on its interior to quell sound output. Externally, both mufflers for the DR650 look the same and the pipe that links them to the OEM header is identical.
