Dakota Digital PGR-1000 Series Handlebar Mounted Gear Indicator Display

PGR-1000 series gear indicators for motorcycles are self-programming. Simply hook them up, ride through all of the gears and you're done!

The PGR-1000 series is a universal programmable gear indicator and can be used on nearly any bike with an electronic speed signal (speedometer) and a 12 volt electrical system that uses a voltage-based gear position sensor.

Will this work on a 2013 Yamaha V Star 950?

So long as you're comfortable doing a little electrical wiring work, yes - you could certainly use this gear position sensors on your V-Star 950. Best of all, the included instructions do an excellent job of explaining exactly how to go about wiring everything up. If you're comfortable with some minor electrical work, you shouldn't have any problem with this kit. Just be sure to choose the correct clamp diameter to fit your handlebars.
