Will it work with a dura clutch
By Mike
Dura clutch said only Polaris belt is the perfect fit any other belt could be loose or to tight because Polaris has better quality control. I doubt they make their own belts, and they charge an arm and a leg plus your first born child. Even with the dura clutch I am still going through their belts two a year, the ranger has camoplast tracks and is only used in the 4 months of winter, round trip from cabin and back is 7 miles I get about 8 trips per belt. Doesn’t matter if I run low gear or high gear. Which is twice as many without the dura clutch
Answer QuestionAs long as the Dura clutch accepts the factory Polaris belt and not a specific custom belt you should have no issue using a replacement belt listed for your model. Just keep in mind any system running tracks like that would be a severe use for a CVT belt. Wear life is not likely to be as long as with just standard off road tires due to the increase mass. I have heard of the intake vents icing up if running frog skinz on the intake for CVT of plugging with snow. This can cause increased temperatures in the clutches and cause premature belt failure. May want to try a cooler kit or on the CVT housing or modifying your cover to increase airflow to the clutch.
