D.I.D VO Series O-Ring Chain

Assuming your machine is completely stock, you'll need a 520 pitch chain that's 108 links long. You'll notice that, once you make those selections from the menu on our website, the specifications for that chain shows that it comes with a FJ Press Fit Master Link. The FJ-type master link requires that the side plate be pressed onto the pins using a proper chain tool (we like the (DID KM500R) but the clip link itself can be slid on without the need for any special tools.

The 2001 Kawasaki W650 came from the factory with a 525 pitch chain that was 104 links long. If you're using stock-sized sprockets that have the same front and rear tooth count (15T and 39T, respectively), then you should be all set with a 525 chain that's 104 links long from D.I.D or, any other manufacturer.

The 2021 KTM 250 XC TPI came from the factory with a 118 link, 520 pitch chain. So long as you haven't changed the sprocket gearing on your machine, yes, this chain would certainly fit. Just choose the chain with 118 links of length in the 520 pitch and you'll be all set!

Yes, all D.I.D. 520 VO series chains come with a FJ press fit clip-Type master link. If you're good with pliers, you can usually slip the locking link into place without issue. Still, we recommend a set of Motion Pro Chain Master Link Clip Pliers as they're specially designed to fitting the sometimes difficult clip-links into place on any motorcycle chain.

That bike came with a 520 pitch chain from the factory, so you should have no problem using it on your bike. Just be sure to get a long enough length so you can shorten it to your needs.

Yessir! The bike shipped from the factory with a 520 size chain. The stock chain measures 118 links long. So long as you have the stock sprocket tooth count (13T for the front and 52T for the rear), the 118 link chain would fit without issue.

Ah, the good ol' ATC 250R - assuming you have the OEM sprocket ratio of 13T for the front and 39T for the rear, then a 96 link chain would be correct for that machine. If that's the case, then yes, you'd have no problem fitting this chain to your machine as the 520 pitch chain was fitted as standard.
