It may just be my bike because the previous owner did the same. We both had to grind the lever where it meets the bar fitting near pivot point to make it fit. The bike is an XR250L.

The correct length lever

For my motorcycle, the clutch and brake levers require an extended length due to the section of handlebar that accommodates the mirror mounts. The lever was the correct length and was easy to install. Reminder to hold on to your original hardware as you'll need a pivot pin and nut.
