Can I cut a notch in the collar part to install these on a snow blower

I really like these and want to install them on my Toro 824 snow blower . I would have to notch the collar opposite side of wire in order for control handle to come down onto bar
Provided your machine has a 12V power supply and 7/8" diameter bars on it, I don't see why it wouldn't work. I doubt the notch you need would cause a problem, either. Just be sure to choose the Thumb without Heat option since the grips you'd receive with that configuration would both fit 7/8" handlebars. If you were to select twist grip, for example, you'd receive one grip that's slightly larger to accommodate a motorcycle's twist grip throttle which, again assuming you're working with 7/8" handlebars, wouldn't fit your particular setup.
