S&S Grand National Slip-On Exhaust

It is not possible for me to write a review on the material quality of this exhaust system. The sound is nice, a little bit above stock and a little more rumble on the road, which was all I was looking for. They were a bit tricky to install, look OK and time will tell if the finish holds up. That's the only reason I rated as three stars (I can't quantify quality by just looking at it.)

Looks and sounds fantastic

This is the sound that I've been looking for thank you S&S Grand National slip-on. I have tried the Reinhardt and Bassani slip-ons which both were quality builds but too loud for my personal preference. The S&S Grand National exceeds my expectations on the performance.

Perfect slip-on replacement for stock Indian exhaust. Better air flow, smaller, lighter, great sound.

Finally I have found the exact sound I have been looking for. The Bassani wasn't bad and the Reinhardt wasn't either, but the S&S Grand National slip-on black muffler is pure perfection. With the baffle in you have a nice deep Rumble you can hear while cruising at highway speeds. Very nice build quality and finish.

Extremely satisfied with this slip on. Installation took maybe 5 minutes. The pipe sounds great, a huge improvement over stock. It is not obnoxious, just the right amount of loud. I would recommend the product to anyone. 10/10 from me.

This slip on muffler is beautiful. Sounds great. Without the noise cone, it's at that happy medium. No droning in your helmet. Just that great HD sound I was hoping for. It mounts in minutes, and fits perfectly.

Nice exhaust. Tricky to figure out how to install. No instructions came with mine, but fortunately, someone had made a good Youtube video that showed how to do it.

Sound is great. Fit on a 21 fxlrs was perfect. Only downside is no exhaust gaskets.

Excellent product. With baffles left in they're perfect for me. Noticeably louder than stock, but the neighbors barely notice as I rumble out of the neighborhood.

I replaced the stock exhaust for my 2025 nightster 975 with this S&S national slip on, mine didn't come with instructions but you can check up some videos before doing the replacement it will save you money and time. Great sound I also remove the DC to make it louder also it fits just right and it already has the gasket. If you hear the sound of the exhaust(S&S national) on videos it is not the same, in reality the after market new slip on S&S national sounds great!

Sounds so awesome! I removed the baffle and it gives it an incredible sound!

Muffler was easy enough it install. As for the effect produced, it gave my scout the much needed attitude and personality that it deserved. Excellent tone and plenty loud even with the dB reducer. My only complaint is the QR code for the instructions arrives at a dead link and trying to manually access it proved no more useful.

Excellent slip on for 2023 Harley Nightster. Sounds good with the baffle in. Sounds great with it out. Loud. 2nd and 3rd accelerating has a nice "charging up" growl. Super easy to install. Take off $25 bucks and this item would be a perfect sale. Overall 5 stars.

It sounded a lot better than I thought. I kind of regret spending more money on a full exhaust in the past.

Got these for my 06 Electra glide Standard, only problem I had was had to make adapters to fit ( after market true duals wit 1 7/8" ends) these fit factory 1 3/4" pipes, but they look good, and sound great, they have a nice time to them.

I've tried Cobra slip-ons and now S&S slip-ons. Both are great but the S&S have a little more low at idle. Throw the db limiters in the trash. These slip-on's sound great.

Bike sounds like a HOG now, little more horses to it.

The mufflers look and sound amazing. Such an improvement over the stock ones.

I did a lot of searching to come up with mufflers with the right sound, torque, good looks and price for my 2019 Harley Ultra. These sound perfect to me with the dB reducers out and baffles in. With dB reducers in it pretty much sounds stock. I'm running stock headers and air cleaner. Everything about these mufflers fits a full dresser m8. We'll see how the chrome holds up over time.

The only reason for the four star overall rating was that I had hoped the slip-on mufflers would be a bit quieter at higher speeds than they are. They are very good looking and high quality construction.

The exhaust for my Harley Davison Nightster looks great, the sound is amazing, like night and day compared to the stock exhaust and easy to install.

Nice upgrade from the SEIIs I had on the lowrider. Sound and perform much better.

This exhaust tip has exceeded all expectations. It shaves off some weight and gives the bike a nice low tone. If you remove the decibel reducer it gains quite a bit of volume but not so much that it’s obnoxious. I underestimated how good the pipe would sound even with the cat still in place. Worth the price if you’re looking to spice up the sound profile of your FTR. I’ll be honest there really is no noticeable increase in performance although it may show an increase in power on a dyno.

I purchased this muffler for my 2015 harley davidson xg 500 street bike. What a difference! The sound is throaty without being annoying. The fit and finish are top notch, and I like the fact that it's ceramic coated so it will look good for years to come. All in all, I give this one a big thumbs up.

I purchased a 2014 Fat Bob a month ago with 7500 miles. They took the stock baffles out and ran like crude! I bought the S&S slip on kit. Easiest install Ever. The exhaust is loud when you get on it. My bike runs like it's brand new.
