Is this windscreen taller than my stock 2012 696monster

No, Zero Gravity SR Series windscreens for the Ducati Monster 696 are the same size and shape as the OEM windscreen on that machine. This holds true for all SR Series windscreens. If you need additional coverage from a taller windscreen, check out the Sport Touring Tall Profile or Sport Touring windscreens from Zero Gravity. They offer additional coverage that's designed for comfort on longer rides.

While they may be the same shape, the benefit is added clarity when compared to stock, and also - we have them available in various tints for most motorcycles on the market!
