Is this something a rider with some experience can install themself
By GRYNCHY
If you're comfortable with things like oil changes, air cleaner replacement and upgrading the controls on your bike, these shocks are not that difficult to install. They only require simple hand tools and an evening or two in the garage, with most of the time spent unbolting parts and getting them out of the way so you can run wires for the adjustment switch that goes on the handlebars. Other than that, provided you've got something to hold the bike up while you replace the shocks, there's nothing too technical about the work.
