The thumb throttle lever on my Polaris Sportsman 335 broke. How do I install this lever on my machine.

Everyone tells me I need to replace the whole box thingy, but the lever is all that is broken. do I have to open the box thingy to install this since the bolt is on the topl

You would remove the top cover to get to the lever assembly. Remove the original and replace with this new lever.
