I installed the Performance V2 slip on exhaust onto an older Honda ATV and I like the results. Installed in minutes. A straight-up slip on, absolutely no fabrication needed. Very crisp throttle now. So far a good purchase.

This exhaust rips. High quality stainless steel. It looks great and even sounds better. Be prepared however because it can be loud especially in enclosed areas such as garages, underpasses or tunnels but that can be mitigated by a quiet insert. You do also get a slight performance boost to the bike. Easy to install and overall great product for your money.

The exhaust sounds great. Unfortunately I was missing a screw to secure the heat shield panel. It would be nice if they included decent instructions, but it was not hard to install.

Does this make it any quieter than the stock exhaust?

No, quite the opposite actually. Every exhaust we sell is going to, at the very least, have the same sound output as stock. Most of them, especially the full exhaust systems, are going to be louder than the original pipes they replace. For those wanting a quiet machine, it's always best to stick with the stock exhaust system.

What do you use to secure existing down pipe to the new pipe tube. (Like literally just slip it on or needs welded or a band.)

Assuming you're replacing the stock muffler on your biker, you are to re-use the clamp on the intake-side of the muffler. Just slip the muffler in place of the stock one, re-use the existing mounting hardware and you should be all set! No welding required.
