One drop on front in?

It is my understanding that installing the heliBars will raise the front fork exactly 1", thereby lowering the front end by one inch. Exactly what I'm looking for. Is that assessment correct?
Not exactly. While this relocation kit does raise the position of the OEM handlebars by one inch., it doesn't provide enough room to lower the forks by the same amount. You can use to to bring the forks up through the triple clamps, yes - but not quite by one inch. Maybe half an inch, but not a full inch.
