Yes, the OEM parts are always going to be more expensive. This is done, in part, to prevent people from building entire machines from the OEM parts catalog. There was a time back in the 70s and 80s were some brands, like Polaris, had cheap spare parts and people would just order everything from the microfiche and assemble a brand new machine on their own! Now, to your real question - these components are made by Rick's, a New Hampshire-based company to perform the same as the OEM parts they replace. They're designed to make your whole charging system "good as new." Plus, unlike OEM parts, they come with a 1 year manufacturer warranty. Without knowing what machine you're riding, it's impossible to specify power output. I can tell you that these kits are designed to produce the same amount of power as the OEM charging system on any machine you select from our fit guide.
