Baker Armored Attitude Primary Chain Adjuster

  • Manual chain tensioner allows you to set the chain to the proper 5/8"-7/8" (cold) freeplay and never have to worry about it being too tight
  • 28% finer teeth spacing (compared to '01-'06 chain adjuster) for more accurate adjustments

Baker armored attitude chain adjuster

You get what you pay for, vary quiet, lots of shoe for the chain to ride on, as long as I was running the factory auto chain adjuster my transmission had a whine in 5th gear, since I installed the Baker Armored Attitude Chain adjuster. The whine has gone away. I installed it the same time I installed a new chain along with a "direct drive" motor sprocket, vary happy with it, don't have to worry about the chain being too tight, I know it's set correctly. Would highly recommend it to anybody running a Harley Davidson motorcycle.

How long will the shoe last under normal riding conditions and can i buy a replacement shoe if and when it wears out?

There's no hard number on how long the shoe is supposed to last. You're instructed to check it after the initial 500 miles of use, and thereafter, every 5,000 miles.
