Good rebuild kit comes with everything you need and now my starter works like new just don't make the mistake I did of thinking all 400ex/400x starters are the same the 99-04 bearing in the starter have a bigger ID than the one in my 2011 400x so I had to use my old bearing but it was in good shape but that was entirely my fault I would definitely recommend this kit and do yourself a favor and rebuild your factory starter (cheap starters are junk)
