Bolts on easy and in my opinion is better than the steel skid plates. This is my 2nd one and I'll be buying more as I get new bikes.

my 2022 ktm 300 xc-w doesn't have linkage. will the part have this coverage and should it be removed'

The skid plates for bikes that do not have a linkage would not include the linkage guard.
