Yes, so long as the OEM compensator sprocket works with your setup, there's no reason this wouldn't, either! It'll otherwise withstand just about any engine upgrade you can think of!

I would follow the OEM service interval guidelines as outlined in your machine's owner's manual and be happy with that. According to the information I have here, the compensator sprocket is to be inspected every 10,000 miles and replaced only when it's showing signs of wear. Given this part is MUCH tougher than OEM, I'd guess you could get many tens of thousands of miles out of it without the need to replace it.
