Will this carburetor fit right on to my 1998 FLHR Road King, and does is it a new carb ?

Yes, if you were to select the 1998 Harley Davidson FLHR Road King carburetor from our fit guide, you'd receive the correct part to fit your machine. It's designed to bolt straight in place of the OEM carburetor without the need to make any permanent modifications. It re-uses the stock throttle and choke cables. And yes, it is a new part, not a remanufactured item. The same holds true for everything on our website.
