For just under $60, you can extend your stock compensator's life. Replaced my 2016 Street Glide outer spring at 48,000 miles and it eliminated the notorious comp rattle! The ramp setup showed normal wear as expected. I mostly ride distance. I'll crack it occasionally just because, ya just gotta do it! So I don't baby it, but I ride it like you're supposed to. At 71, it works for me. If you're building a motor, spend the money and get the setup that's necessary. If you're doing minimal performance upgrades, air cleaner, exhaust, fuel management, this works perfectly. Besides, it's made by Feuling!
