Questions & Answers

  • What makes this starter better and different than the original?

    By: Tim

Compared to the OEM Hitachi-style starter, this particular unit uses larger, more durable bearings. This, of course, is required in order to withstand the heavy-duty armature that's used within the starter's chassis. Due to this design, the Drag Specialties Harley-Davidson Hitachi starter produces 15% more power when compared to the stock unit it replaces.
