Designed to provide increased horsepower and a crisp throttle response, these air filters inspire longer moto races. K&N air filters were originally designed for the extreme demands of off road racing. After years of development and testing, the original design still offers increased performance and excellent protection in all conditions. The Xstream series high flow air filters are designed to provide high-capacity with very low restriction, resulting in increased horsepower and torque. K&N Xstream series performance motocross air filters are designed with a deep pleated, washable and reusable cotton media that offers a large surface area and longer service intervals.

  • Do you have to remove all the screws each time you want to change the filter?

    Do you have to remove all the screws to change the filter, or does it slip in and out of the frame?

    It really depends on what machine you have the kit installed on. For most bikes, removing the complete filter assembly is the same as the stock foam filter - you just have to unscrew the central locking post and the whole kit comes off. For bikes like the newer Yamaha YZ250F and YZ450F where the air filter is in front of the fuel tank, then yes - you'll have remove all of the screws in order to change the air filter.
