Answer a Question

I have a 2002 honda vtx1800 c. The stock shocks are bone jarring going over bumps no matter what the spring pre load is set at. I would like to find some shocks that will give a more cushy ride, I am 260 lbs. with a bad back. As it sits now the eye to eye measurement is 11 and 3/4 inches, what would you recommend ? I ride solo with no fairing or saddle bags, etc.
