Twin Air Filter Foam

  • Coarse, open pore outer foam catches airborne dirt, grime and sand
  • Fine open pore inner foam acts as a second filter to trap the smallest particles while ensuring maximum air passage
  • Exclusively formulated adhesive withstands repeated cleanings, even with harsh solvents or gasoline
  • Slightly smaller than stock filter to increase the air space around the filter and improve circulation
  • Fused outer and inner elements prevent dirt and grime from being lodged between layers, this can be a problem with inferior 2-piece designs. Trapped particles restrict air flow, and if dirt works its way into your engine, a pinhead sized granule can gouge your cylinder, piston and rings like a bullet
  • Thick flat foam, greaseless sealing ring ensures maximum contact with your airbox, while acting as a breathable gasket for increased air passage
  • Filter ships dry, ready for the filter oil of your choice
  • Made in The Netherlands

Instructions on how to apply filter oil on air filter,

It says mine ship dry, can add filter oil of my choice.

You can use pretty much any filter oil you'd like with Twin Air filters. We do, however, recommend Twin Air Liquid Power Air Filter Oil for these particular filters. To get the job done, just oil the by soaking it while making sure it is completely saturated. Then, gently squeeze out the excess until a light, even coat remains.  Just be sure not to wring out the filter. It's best to massage the oil through the pores with your hands. You can gently fold the filter and squeeze out the excess oil. After that, dry the filter in an open space for 12 hours.
