Going on a 2011 grizzly 550. Does this filter need to be oiled?

Yes, this filter would need to be oil before installing for use. There is the Moose PPO Pre-Oiled Air Filter available for that 2011 Yamaha Grizzly 550 if you don't want to mess with oiling this dry filter.
