Answer QuestionIt really depends on what model year machine it is that you have. For 1986-2003 model year Sportsters, you must remove the passenger footpeg in order to install this exhaust. If you have a 2004 or newer model year Sportster, there is a provision for attaching the right-side passenger footpeg. You get a set of spacers in the kit which allow for retaining the passenger pegs.
