These filters are great, buy 2 and have a second one oiled in a ziplock bag to swap it if its not convenient to clean it. Cleaning kit from uni works great too.

Uni Filter's Offroad Air Filter for the Honda XR650L does indeed have the internal plastic cage fitted. In the case of this particular XR650L air filter, you needn't purchase a separate plastic cage to fit it to your bike.
