The factory shock tower brace leaves a ton to be desired. Optional gusset plate ties the brace into the front bulkhead as it should be from the factory. The Factory style shock mounting is single shear meaning most of the shock pressure is being put on the side of the mounting bolt. A Deviant gusset plate makes the mount into a double shear structure, making it much stronger. It's highly recommended for aggressive drivers.
