Best upgrade I did to my 883 custom. I put a 1200 primary sprocket, chain and a 30 tooth sprocket on the transmission output to drop the RPM's at highway speeds. This upgrade worked perfectly with my gearing and woke the bike right up.

This kit does not include new heads. It does include new head gaskets along with the other necessary gaskets to install this kit.

There are no rocker boxes or valves included with this kit. You are to re-use the OEM units in order to complete the installation of the conversion kit.

My 883 custom has only 9,000 original miles on it. I learned on the 883 now Im ready for some power and need to make it louder what do you recommend for that? I was thinking of some Black powder coating with chrome tips. The same for Heads if possible
The S&S 883 to 1200 Sportster Conversion Kit will not require you to change your exhaust or intake. You can still use the stock cylinder heads from your 883, the exhaust and intake will remain the same. To get the most of the conversion kit, it is highly recommended that you tune your carburetor for optimal performance with the increased displacement. You'll certainly notice a huge improvement in terms of engine power output. In fact, it sounds like this kit is exactly what you're looking for. If you were to add a Sportser Cobra full exhaust system, you'd certainly get the extra sound output you want as well!
