Yes, if you were to select the 1997 Harley Davidson FXDL Dyna Low Rider shocks from our fit guide, you'd receive the correct parts to fit your machine. Just be sure to choose the correct spring rate for your needs. If you're riding mostly solo and weigh less than 220 lbs., standard-rate shocks are the way to go. If you're heavier than that, and/or ride two-up at least 50% of the time, go with the heavy-duty shocks.

Progressive recommends heavy-duty 412 series shocks for any solo rider over 220 lbs. And, if your concerns are whether or not that's enough for a passenger, I can assure you that the heavy-duty springs are far better than the stock shocks, in terms of bottoming resistance!
my 1989 fxrs has a 13 in shock do u make a 12 or 12 1/2

Progressive only produces covered shocks for the 1989 FXRS in an 11 inch length. We do have a set of Standard Progressive 412 Series Shocks available to fit that machine in a 13 inch length, albeit - the coil springs are exposed.
