Without having the machine here to examine, it's impossible to say whether or not this, or any skid plate we have on hand - would work for your specific needs. Since Acerbis' skid plates are fabricated using a polypropylene plastic, you could carefully cut away the portions that would come into contact with the motor. The main concern to would be the metal brackets that are included with the plate that hold it against your bike's frame. If the Bosh motor takes up that space, you'll have to fabricate new mounting brackets in order to attach the skid plate to your bike.

Acerbis skid plates are made of polypropylene plastic, not metal. The nice thing about a plastic skid plate when compared to a metal unit is that it won't wear into the frame nearly as quickly as a metal part. Of course, the downside is that plastic skid plates don't afford the same protection as a metal skid plate. It really depends on what you're looking to do with your bike; if you're riding mostly moto in dirt and sand (MX or trails), then the plastic skid plate may be the way to go. If you're doing a lot of desert riding or ripping it up in the mountains, the metal skid plates, while heavier - are a better investment from an engine protection standpoint.
